Just wanted to say that if you didn’t make it to the first CICE on Saturday you missed out on a really good new UK convention. For a brand new one day con it was extremely well run, the atmosphere was very positive and there were plenty of people coming through the doors.

The launch of 10thology was a resounding success with only 2 copies of the book left by the end of the day. And lots of those who bought the book, which looks amazing, were running around the con getting autographs from all the creators. With 18 people having worked on the book that’s no mean feat.

It reminded me of Bristol before the move away from the railway shed at Temple Meads, lots of likeminded people in one place really enjoying all that comics and geek media in general has to offer. Personally it was great to catch up with so many people that I only ever really see at conventions as well as some of my Cardiff Comic Creators crew too.

It’s already been confirmed that next year will be a two day event and I really can’t wait, especially as I’ll be living in Cardiff by then. A two day con on your doorstep? Yes please.
